Meet Dr. Legath

Tim Legath, D.C. is a 2014 graduate of National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL.  Committed to providing the best care to his patients, he is a certified full body Active Release Technique (ART) provider, certified in the McKenzie Method of Diagnosis Parts A and B, has extensive training in Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab Provocation and Motion (FAKTR), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation, and Kinesio Tape Method.

A lifelong ice hockey player, it was through personal injuries sustained on the ice that Dr. Legath first sought chiropractic treatment. Over the years, his interest in chiropractic care and sports medicine has developed into a career seeking to provide the best care to his own patients.  He has a breadth of experience working with athletes of all levels - from professionals and Olympians, NCAA student athletes, to weekend warriors alike - with the primary goal of getting every patient back to optimum health and performing at their best. Dr. Legath is currently licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Outside the office, Dr. Legath still enjoys playing hockey whenever he can, will lace up his running shoes for the occasional half marathon, and loves getting to explore the greater Philadelphia area with his wife and son.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our chiropractor will evaluate your posture, joint and soft-tissue function, spine alignment, and movement patterns. Then using hands-on adjustments, soft-tissue work, rehabilitation exercises and sports-specific therapies, we work to restore mobility, reduce pain, and help your body heal and perform better. At Keystone Spine and Sport, we emphasise precision, personalisation, and helping you get back to doing what you love.

Chiropractors are trained to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions — from low-back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, wrist injuries, rotator cuff injuries and sports rehab, to general pain management and injury rehab. If you’re wondering whether chiropractic care can help your case, give us a call and we’ll discuss how we approach your specific issue.

Absolutely — back pain is one of the most common reasons people seek chiropractic care. Whether your pain comes from a low back injury, sports trauma, or repetitive strain, our team works to find the root cause (not just mask symptoms), relieve the immediate pain, and guide you into a more stable, strong, and pain-free state.

At your first visit with us at Keystone Spine and Sport (King of Prussia), you’ll receive a comprehensive initial examination: we’ll dig into your mobility, alignment, soft tissues, and history. Then we’ll design a personalised treatment plan. Hands-on care may include chiropractic adjustments, soft-tissue mobilisation, and sport-oriented rehab. From there we’ll set short- and medium-term goals so you know what to expect.

Yes — our practice integrates sports rehab and sports medicine principles. If you’re recovering from a rotator cuff injury, wrist injury, knee pain from sport, or any athletic strain, we tailor the care accordingly to help you regain performance, strength, mobility, and resilience.

Not at all. While we love working with athletes and active people, our services extend to anyone suffering from back pain, shoulder pain, low back injury, wrist injury, sports-related or otherwise, who wants to improve mobility, reduce pain, and get back to normal life.

Everyone’s case is different. Some patients feel relief quickly after the initial adjustment or soft-tissue work. Others require a bit more time if the condition is chronic or complex. We’ll be realistic from the start about timing and work together to track progress and adjust the plan as needed.
